The principle duties of the Records Bureau staff are to receive crime, accident and arrest reports from all zones; check reports with chronological listing to ensure correct number and classification and make any necessary changes; file and maintain all reports; create or update criminal records for all adult and minor arrestees. The Records Bureau also issues traffic and police reports to customers.

The Records Bureau division is also responsible for the collection of all fees.

Office hours are 8 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday. St. Croix and St. Thomas hours are 8 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday. The St. John office is open Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 am to 3 pm. All offices are closed on all government holidays.

To obtain services you must:

  • Obtain and complete the appropriate form for the service you require


  • return it to the Records Bureau along with your valid driver’s license, Naturalization Certificate and/or a valid Passport
