Police Surveillance Cameras Capture Drug Transaction

Police surveillance cameras on St. Thomas captured a drug transaction in the Hospital Ground area leading to the confiscation of 31 dime bags of marijuana.
Shacori Todman, 18, of Hospital Ground and Kashif George, 26, of Estate Bovoni were arrested around 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, December 21 and charged with Simple Possession of a Controlled Substance and Constructive Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.
George was observed on the surveillance cameras selling drugs to several motorists and placing a black bag in a hole in the wall which surrounds the basketball court near the Winston Raymo Center. When police arrived they observed George, Todman and another male. Police searched the suspects. George and Todman were found with six dime bags of marijuana in their possession and 25 bags were found in the bag hidden in the wall.
Bail for George and Todman was set at $11,000 each and they were remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
