CIB And FBI Joint Assignment Arrest Fugitive Wanted For Robbery In Louisiana

Christiansted, St.Croix, USVI - On January 20, 2019, members of the VIPD Criminal Investigations Bureau, St. Croix District, conducted a joint assignment with the Federal Bureau of Investigations in search of a fugitive, Mr. Brandel Lynard Berry.

Berry was wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred in the state of Louisiana on January 11, 2019.

Berry fled the US mainland to travel to St. Croix, USVI, where he was tracked.

The team made contact with Mr. Berry and served him with the arrest warrant that was signed by the Honorable Judge Paul Schneider of the 24th Judicial District of Louisiana for Robbery in the First Degree.

Brandel Berry, 36 years old, was placed under arrest pursuant to the arrest warrant.

He was booked and remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advise of Rights hearing, awaiting extradition to the state of Louisiana.
