Because of the stop, an unregistered firearm, ammunition and other illegal items were discovered in the vehicle. All items were seized; however, David was released pending further investigation.

The investigation revealed that 22-year-old Glenn A. David was not authorized to possess or carry a firearm or ammunition in the territory of the U.S. Virgin Islands. DNA was obtained from the firearm and other evidence and sent for examination at a DNA Lab.

The examination revealed that David’s DNA profile was on the firearm that was discovered in the vehicle he was operating.

On February 26, 2019, an arrest warrant was obtained for the arrest of Glenn A. David for Unauthorized Possession of a firearm and other firearms related charges. On March 8, 2019, David was present at the Wilbur Francis Command Police station with his Attorney and turned himself in.

David bail was set at $50,000. Unable to make bail, he was remanded to Golden Grove Detention Facility.
