Community Invite For The Town Hall Meeting On The Law On Marijuana

The Virgin Islands Police Department's Grove Place Weed and Seed Program cordially invites you to participate in our “Get to Know the Law on Marijuana” panel discussion on May 30, 2019 at the Eulalie Rivera Elementary School auditorium, 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm.

Grove Place Weed and Seed is a community based program that is dedicated to educating the community on laws that affect their well-being.

We promote the importance of building good character, community service, leadership, staying in school, and refraining from drugs, gangs, and alcohol.

In this endeavor, we continue to foster community pride in our residence as we provide them with meaningful information to improve their quality of life.

The panelist will give a brief overview of laws that govern us relative to marijuana usage/possession

The floor will then be open to a question-and-answer segment

The panelist includes members from the following agencies:

  1. United States Attorney
  2. Virgin Islands Senator
  3. Virgin Islands Police Department
  4. DEA High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area

We would appreciate your involvement in this informative Town Hall meeting as we are aiming to address the numerous issues pertaining to the use/possession of marijuana.
