Woman Facing Attempted Murder And Multiple Assault Charges

On June 2, 2019, at around 5:25 am, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of a stabbing in Estate Cane Carlton.

Investigation revealed that Belynda M. Lynch and a male got into a physical altercation. Lynch became enraged after the altercation and stabbed the male individual in the thigh area multiple times.

The male victim received medical attention for his injuries at the Juan F. Luis Hospital.

A witness who was present corroborated the incident.

Lynch, 49 years old, was advised of her Miranda Rights and placed under arrest, charged for Assault 1st Degree, Attempted murder , Assault 3rd, Possession of a dangerous weapon during the commission of a crime of violence.

No bail was set per the DV law.

She was then transported to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional facility pending advice of rights hearing.
