VIPD Patrol Officers Investigate Deceased Body on St. John

ST. JOHN – On Friday, August 30, 2019 at approximately 3:16 p.m., Virgin Islands Police Department officers from the Major Crime Unit responded to a residence in the area of Estate Adrian on St. John where they observed an unresponsive Feguera DeSquange, 45, of Haitian decent.

Emergency Medical Technicians on the scene confirmed that the DeSequange had no vital signs. Preliminary investigation revealed that an apparent suicide occurred. However, officers are awaiting official confirmation, when an autopsy is completed, and the cause of death is determined by the medical professionals.

DeSquange’s body was transported to the Myrah Keating Smith Clinic on St. John pending transfer to the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center facility on St. Thomas. The victim’s next of kin was properly notified.

This case is currently under investigation by the Major Crime Unit.
