Arrest Made in Walter Hodge Pavilion Shooting Incident

ST. CROIX, USVI – On July 2 at approximately 10:15 a.m., police arrested Rahkeem S. Swanston, age 20 of Estate Whim. He was charged with 3rd Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Carrying a Firearm Openly or Concealed, Aiming and Discharging a Firearm, and Possession of Ammunition.

Swanston was identified as one of the shooters in an incident which resulted in a woman being shot at the Walter I.M. Hodge Pavilion housing community.
Bail for Swanston was set at $75,000. He was unable to post bail and was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights hearing.
