Man Arrested for Threatening Woman with Gun

ST. CROIX, USVI – On November 16 at approximately 6:05 p.m., police arrested Hector C. Torres, Jr., age 28 of Estate Rattan, charging him with 3rd Degree Assault, Domestic Violence and Disturbance of the Peace by Threats, Domestic Violence.

Torres allegedly threatened a female with a firearm during a disagreement earlier that day.
Torres was not offered bail, as per the territory’s domestic violence laws, and was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights hearing.
