St. Croix, USVI - On December 28, 2022, at around 11:36 p.m., 911 received calls from several individuals who reported a shooting victim in downtown Frederiksted. Upon officers' arrival they discovered an unresponsive black male lying in the middle of King Street, Frederiksted, in the vicinity of KFC.

EMS arrived on the scene, however, did not find any sign of life on the victim. The male was identified by a family member as 44-year-old Bradley Maxwell. Investigation continues in this case.
