St. Croix, USVI – The Virgin Island Police Department would like to inform the public of roadblocks on Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29, 2023.
On Saturday, January 28, 2023, there will be NO PARKING allowed from 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. from the corner of Purple Papaya (corner of Strand Lane) to the Caravelle Casino (Queen Cross Street) in Christiansted due to Caravelle Hotel and Casino’s Block Party. NO PARKING signs will be posted, and all vehicles found in violation will be towed.
On Sunday, January 29, 2023, there will be NO PARKING OR TRAFFIC allowed from 12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., on King Street between Market Street (from West Yam Yam) and Custom House Street (to Kentucky Fried Chicken) in Fredriksted. Liberty will be conducting a commercial shoot and as a result, no vehicles will be allowed to pass or park in that area. Vehicles parked in the restricted area will be ticketed and towed.
