CIB Arrested Suspect Wanted for Assault 3rd

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas – On Saturday, November 26, 2022, a male victim reported to police, on Sunday evening September 11, 2022, according to the victim, he was sitting inside of his vehicle when Mr. Arnold Malone banged on the windshield of his vehicle, while speaking under his breath. The victim recounted that Mr. Malone removed a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at him, for no apparent reason. The victim added that Mr. Malone then accused him of “talking about him (Malone) with other people.” The victim said that Mr. Malone walked away, but returned and pointed the firearm directly at his face. The victim recalled that Malone pointed the weapon at him three times.

A wanted poster was published for 47-year-old Arnold Malone on Friday February 24, 2023. On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the Criminal Investigation Bureau received information that Mr. Malone was at the Paragon Building. Officers met with Mr. Malone at the Paragon Building, and he was transported to the Criminal Investigation Bureau, where he was arrested and charged for Assault in the 3rd Degree, Disturbance of the Peace, Unlawful Possession of a firearm, Felon in possession of a firearm
