Man Arrested at St. Thomas Airport for Drug Possession

St. Thomas, USVI - On Saturday, March 18, 2023, at approximately 4:00 p.m., detectives were notified to travel to the Cyril E. King airport for a man that was detained. Upon arrival, detectives made contact with Customs and Border Protection, who stated that Mr. Kahlil Y. Henley, Jr. was detained with two pieces of luggage. Upon investigation, one of the suitcases contained a large quantity of a green leafy substance. Mr. Henley was taken into custody by the Criminal Investigation Bureau after investigation revealed that the green leafy substance tested positive for Marijuana.

Mr. Kahlil Y. Henley, Jr., 18-years-old, was arrested, booked, and processed. Mr. Henley is facing charges for Possession with the Intent to Distribute. Bail was set at $7,500.00 in this matter.
