St. Thomas, USVI - On Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at approximately 6:04 a.m., a citizen contacted 911 and reported that there was a person floating in the water in the area of Edward Wilmoth Blyden IV Marine Terminal.

Upon responding officers’ arrival, contact was made with an unresponsive male.

Emergency Medical Technicians arrived on the scene and concluded that the male did not have any vital signs.

The identity of this male is unknown currently. The cause of death is unknown, pending an autopsy.
