Buck Island, St. Thomas - On Saturday, May 27, 2023 at around 10:30 a.m. while attending a beginners scuba diving class in the area of Buck Island, St. Thomas, a 16 year-old minor experienced a medical issue that caused him to become unresponsive during the dive. The minor was pulled aboard the boat where CPR was administered. He was pronounced unresponsive at 10:57 a.m.
