St. Croix, USVI - The Virgin Islands Police Department held a swearing in ceremony on Friday, July 7, 2023, for newly promoted Police Lieutenants in the St. Croix District. This ceremony was held at the VI Superior Court St. Croix by the Honorable Judge Yolan Brow Ross.

Police Commissioner Ray A. Martinez told family members and well-wishers of the newly promoted Lieutenants: “It is a big deal moving throughout the ranks to be able to acquire the positions in order to lead this department. It is no longer about being physical, now it is more cerebral, intellectual. I have the utmost confidence that you are going to lead and lead well.”
