St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands - On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at approximately 6:29 p.m., Operation Re-establish taskforce officers were dispatched to Nadir Estate in reference to shots being fired. Upon arrival, an inspection was conducted in the general area and eleven spent casing were found. An extended search of the area resulted in the finding of (1) Glock Gen 4, 40 caliber pistols with an obliterated serial number, a small white bag with multiple loose rounds, (1) fifteen round Glock magazine filled to capacity, and (3) Generic magazines with ammunition.

The Virgin Islands Police Department commend the officers on a job well done. The men and women of VIPD are committed to keeping the community safe and getting firearms off the streets.
