St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands - On October 3, 2023, at 6:00 a.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a call of a gunshot victim in Estate Smithfield. Upon officers’ arrival they discovered the unresponsive body of a female.

Emergency Medical Services personnel was on scene and found no signs of life.

The female sustained a gunshot to the head.

The next of kin was notified and positively identified the victim as 27-year-old Aliyah Dibartolemeo of New Hampshire.

This case is currently unclassified pending the autopsy.
