St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – In preparation for former Senator Alicia “Chucky” Hansen’s Funeral Services which will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, there will be roadblocks starting from 8:00 a.m. until the completion of the service for motorist not attending the funeral service. The roadblocks are as follows:
NO traffic will be allowed onto King Street from Basin Triangle Intersection into Christiansted town.
NO traffic will be allowed westbound pass Peter’s Farm Road or Jiffy Mart towards Basin Triangle Intersection.
Traffic from Basin Triangle Intersection will be rerouted towards Watergut area
Traffic coming out of Christiansted Town will be rerouted left onto Peter’s Farm Road towards the Bypass.
Motorist are asked to avoid using these routes in or out of Christiansted Town during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
